After a tenacious season, the Trojans lost to Pocono Mountain West Saturday in the District 11 final.
During the season, Parkland, ranked No. 5 in the league, beat No. 1 Emmaus, twice. That got the Trojans to the championship as underdogs. They faced No. 2 Pocono Mountain West.
And the Panthers had to fight to win, squeaking out a 57-53 victory.
Parkland now advances to the state tournament, which begins next Saturday.
