Parkland Boys Advance to D-11 Semifinals
Trojans defeat Freedom, 47-45, and will face Emmaus on Wednesday.
The Parkland High School boys basketball team defeated Freedom High School, 47-45, Saturday night at Shawnee Middle School in the quarterfinal round of the District 11 playoffs, according to a report in The Morning Call.
The report said the game came down to the final play where Freedom player missed a 3-point shot with the final seconds winding down.
The Trojans (20-5) will face Emmaus in the semifinal round Wednesday night 7:30 at Freedom High School, according to the District 11 website.
