Parkland Announces 2nd Make-Up Day
Parkland School District announces a second day students will make up due to time lost to Hurricane Sandy.
Parkland School District announced the second make-up day for students will be Friday, Feb. 15.
According to the website, the district's inclement weather make-up procedure is as follows:
- First two instructional days lost will be made up as teacher professional development days.
- Any lost instructional days beyond two will be made up in the following order: Friday, Feb. 15—3rd lost day; Thursday, March 28—4th lost day; Friday, June 14—5th lost day; Monday, June 17—6th lost day; Tuesday, June 18—7th lost day; and, additional days made-up beginning Wednesday, June 19.
