Meet GOP Convention Delegate Pat Browne

State Sen. Pat Browne of the 16th State Senate District is a delegate to the Republican National Convention.

 

Editor's Note: Pennsylvania State Sen. Pat Browne is one of three delegates from the 15th Congressional District at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FLA. He did not respond to three questions asking what makes him proud to be a Republican, what issues he considers important to the Lehigh Valley and what he was looking forward to at the convention. 

The 15th District also sent delegates Allentown School Board President Robert E. Smith and Lehigh County Controller Glenn Eckhart. The three alternate delegates are Ellen Kern of Allentown, Chris Donatelli of Lower Macungie and Daryl Lehew of Dauphin County.

"Didn't answer any questions" I am sure that wasn't a shock to anyone. I emailed, called, and even wrote letters trying to get him to answer some direct questions about the NIZ. Guess what I got ? Nothing. These are the kind of politicians that need to find there cushy job they recieved from favors and just melt away.

I am not surprised by what you stated. Rumor has it that Mr. Browne is not running for public office after his term expires. The NIZ enabling legislation, created by Browne, did not conform to the PA Constitution; I have heard, from people more familiar with the situation than I, that years ago he wrote legislation that lead to the current PA teacher pension crisis. These were seriously flawed pieces of significant legislation that Mr. Browne had responsibility for creating. I am firmly Republican, but I still believe Mr. Browne is not representing the public very well.

saw him on WFMZ News the other night, he looked drunk, red eyes, a bit sweaty with a slight slur.... good ol have a drink with me downtown Pat Browne.... Mr NIZ
