Marshalls, the discount purveyor of clothing and home accessories will open its doors at 6900 Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2.

The building formerly housed the Giant Food Store which opened its new 74,000-square-foot store in December.

Marshalls is owned by the TJX Cos. Inc. of Framingham, Mass., which also owns TJ Maxx and Home Goods.

And yes ladies, that smaller sign which is positioned just to the right of the store's front door says "Shoe Megashop."
