Fogelsville Low-Rise Townhome Appeal Set For March 27
The T.H. Properties Company of Harleysville company wants a variance to maximize building height for new low rise apartments at 1230 Route 100 in Fogelsville
The zoning appeal of T.H. Properties Inc., of Harleysville will come before the Upper Macungie Zoning Board on March 27.
The company is requesting a variance for townhomes planned at 1230 Route 100 in Fogelsville.
These townhouses propose a height of 39 feet, 8 inches, which exceeds the maximum building height requirement of 35 feet. Therefore, a height variance is sought by the company.
The initial hearing took place in March and was continued to the new date.
Elsewhere, Upper Macungie zoners issued 96 new permits in January. The breakdown was as follows:
- 12 permits for new residences
- 24 permits for residential additions/alterations and roofs
- 0 permits for new commercial/industrial buildings
- 18 permits for commercial/industrial additions/alterations
- 42 miscellaneous permits
- 37 electrical licenses
- 27 plumbing licenses
