Kids Can 'Touch A Truck' with Parkland Community Library

Parkland Community Library is planning an innovative way for youngsters to explore all sorts of trucks, from diggers to police cars, outside the library in South Whitehall.

South Whitehall commissioners recently gave a thumbs up to Parkland Community Library's plan to have youngsters check out some cool trucks on the township grounds.

The library is planning a "Touch A Truck" event from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 29, in front of the township administration building and library, off Walbert Avenue.

Families and youngsters will be able to explore -- inside and out -- all sorts of vehicles, including diggers, police cars, an ambulance and more.

No registration is required.
