In the Spotlight: Parkland Swimmer Megan Polaha
The Parkland School Board congratulated Megan Polaha on her silver medal in state competition.
Megan Polaha, who won a silvermedal in state competition for swimming in the 100-yard butterfly race, received congratulations Tuesday from the Parkland School Board.
Megan is a junior at Parkland High School. Her coach, Rob Robitaille, told the school board that Megan has shown great leadership with the team. He said she played a major role in individual and relay events during state competition.
“Megan gives a full 100 percent,” Robitaille said. “She always gives her best and she’s always positive.”
But the best part, Robitaille added, is that she has her senior year in high school ahead of her, to aim for a gold medal.
Megan is the daughter of Paul and Lisa Polaha.
