Heat Wave Could Ease Next Week

Daytime high temperatures could dip below the 90s early next week

Upper Macungie residents are in for a very hot Saturday with a predicted high of 97 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

But this first extended heat wave of summer could ease early next week.

The forecast is for a high of 83 on Monday and a Monday night low of 62 degrees. Temperatures should stay in the low 80s for most of next week, which should bring some relief.
