Free Movie in Grange Park July 13
"Super 8" is tonight's Movie in the Park in Upper Macungie

"Super 8" will be featured as part of Upper Macungie Township's free Movies in the Park series at Grange Park on Friday, July 13 (rain date July 14.)
The movie will start at 8 p.m. but residents can come early for kids' activities at 7 p.m.
This is the third year for "Movies in the Park," which now draw hundreds of people with blankets, chairs and snacks.
Food is sponsored through a fundraiser by a fire company or another organization. Fare usually includes hot dogs, popcorn and soda.
"Super 8" is a 2011 science fiction-thriller produced by Steven Spielberg. The film tells the story of a group of teenagers who are filming their own movie when a train derails, releasing a dangerous presence into their small town.
This summer's Movies in the Park series will conclude with "Puss in Boots" at Breinigsville Park on August 10 (rain date August 11).

Unfortunately, UMT Station 56 will not be able to provide refreshments for tonight's movie. Bring your own snacks!

Thanks for the info, Joe. I'm sure it will still be a fun time. Humidity isn't supposed to be back until tomorrow so weather should be fairly pleasant.

We rented this movie and thought it was pretty good. Nice of the township to show it for free.
