Election Preview: U.S. Presidential Race
President Barack Obama faces a formidable challenge from former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for the U.S. presidency.
President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney both hope to win Pennsylvania. Polls have shown Obama's lead widening in Pennsylvania but Romney's backers say polls aren't an accurate reflection of the state of the race. Michelle Obama came to the Lehigh Valley to campaign for her husband, while Romney campaigned recently in the Philadelphia area.

Not everybody is a Romney fan.. can you please tell me what Romney's Plan is. I can not seem to find it on the internet or in his debates and even when he is campaigning. Who is supporting him for all his commercials? The corporations with mega millions. Why? because they will be given FAVORS for more tax brakes. He is a millionaire himself who would benefit for more tax breaks.. Do you think his buddies are going to HIRE more employee's? I think not, or they would have done it already. again, what is his plan? cut medicare, cut planned parenthood, get rid of the "Patient Affordable care Act.(Obama Care as you all call it) If you want to read it. and really want to know what it is all about you can find it in a PDF File.2,029 pages of it.!! President Obama did not cause this economic crisis, George Bush did, How come he was not invited to the National Convention and has been laying LOW. He caused this and he knows . President Obama has made steady progress just like he said. You can't fix ALL of these issues in 4 years. Romney will only make matters worse. He talks the walk, but will he really walk the talk? I find it ironic that in his one commercial he shows a picture of someone holding a Food stamp Voucher, I wonder what printer designed the Voucher. Most states do not use vouchers they use access cards(Debit like cards) that has the amount of money in Food stamps you are allowed per month.

As for Obamacare: while sitting in Doctors Offices i have heard patients debate this issue. One of the comments I have heard is that I quote " My employer has told us that the medical insurance I currently have through them is going to increase 50% because that is what he/she has been told. That is a LIE by your employer. The insurance company's MAY NOT increase your premium.by 50% they are restricted to do so. Again read Obama Care. Your employer meets with various insurance carriers a few months prior to the end of their current contract to negotiate Health Insurance. They ultimately make the decision on your insurance plan and premiums you may incur. Under Obama Care Insurance Carriers must comply with the regulations as to how much of an increase they may use to clients. They will be obligated to submit this to the Office of Insurance for inspection. if they exceed the allowed amount. They may lose the right to be allowed to offer health insurance. Since I am running out of time. I hope that many of you will take the time to read :Patient Protection and the Affordable Care Act. It benefits all of us . Not just Medicaid as you have been led to believe. And one last thing ; Does your employer pay the same premium or are you actually paying theirs? Think about it. :-)

Yes, Carl, there are more than 2 candidates running! How do we get honest, accurate info about them? I do not understand why they are not allowed at the debates?
