Coca-Cola Expanding Upper Macungie Plant
Report says expansion will cost $46 million and create jobs.
Representatives of Coca-Cola said they are expanding their bottling plant in Upper Macungie Township, according to reports in The Express-Times.
The report said the company is expected to add 50 jobs to its plant on Schantz Road, near Route 100.
The report said additional hires will bring the total of new employees to 125, according to a report on WFMZ.com.
The Express-Times report said the company plans to install new equipment to fill and package the beverages Powerade, Vitamin Water and Fuze.
The report said The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Group helped to secure a $1.25 million grant to help pay for the expansion.

cool now when will this stuff be all done and finshed and the plant can be up and working and more coke cola can be made becasue i love coke that come form the lehigh valley because im a coke head love coke cola and never will change coke lives on with me when i drink it oil man out
