The Lehigh Valley Wine Trail will hold its annual Chambourcin Weekend Oct. 15 and 16.

The Chambourcin is a red grape grown by all vineyards in the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail, including Clover Hill and Vynecrest in Upper Macungie.

Most area of the country can’t grow Chambourcin well, but the Valley’s climate makes growing Chambourcin ideal. And on Oct. 15 and 16, all the vineyards in the area are offering tastings of their Chambourcin wine.

Chambourcin Weekend is a great opportunity to support local growers, taste some new wines and enjoy the Lehigh valley’s fall scenery.
