Camp Red Jacket Helps Kids with Diabetes

Three-day program teaches children with Type 1 Diabetes how to manage the disease in a fun camp setting.

 

Lehigh Valley Health Network held its 11th annual Camp Red Jacket at Orefield's Camp Fowler on June 29. The program teaches kids with Type 1 Diabetes how to manage their disease through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in a camp setting. Forty-six children ages 6-12 participated in this year's program.

Activities included crafts, games, sports, blood sugar testing and educational courses on the skills needed to live a healthy life with diabetes.

The program teaches kids with Type 1 Diabetes how to manage their disease through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in a camp setting. Companies do give out samples. They are looking to put their products in potential consumers' hands. They wouldn't do it if it didn't work one of the place that always worked is "123 Samples" search online
