Bridge Project Near Upper Macungie Done Early

PennDot says bridge replacement in Lynn Township has been completed ahead of schedule.

PennDOT says a bridge project in Lynn Township, Lehigh County has been completed a month ahead of schedule. The township is northwest of Upper Macungie Township.

Donats Peak Road has been reopened following replacement of the structurally deficient Donats Peak Road Bridge over Ontelaunee Creek.

The project included drainage work, new guiderail, new roadway approaches and other miscellaneous construction.

During construction, Donats Peak Road was closed and detoured between PA
143 and Allemaengel Road.

The new bridge is a 91.5 feet long, 27.4 feet wide, concrete bulb T-beam
bridge.

Donats Peak Road has an average daily traffic volume of 143
vehicles.

Thanks for your comment, Andrew. Anybody else have a bad bridge, construction delay or road project they want to talk about?
