Amazon.com presented Fogelsville Elementary School with a $2,500 read-a-thon grant Friday, according to The Express-Times.
The report said the grant is part of a Read-a-thon kickoff event and if Fogelsville students spend another 189,000 minutes over the next 28 days reading, another $2,500 grant will be forthcoming.
The report said the money will be used for educational materials.
