Compass USA (www.Compass-USA.net) is working hard to bring international students for the second year to the Lehigh Valley.

We will have 18 students from Spain stay with local host families from July 6-28 to get a firsthand experience of our culture and how we live. It's not only an amazing experience for the teens from Spain, but an incredible opportunity for those who live in the Lehigh Valley.

There are so many positives that can come from this experience. It's a great way to learn about a foreign culture without leaving the comfort of your own home. And having someone from Spain is a wonderful way to learn Spanish.

Teens involved in hosting can earn volunteer hours towards graduation requirements. Any host family with children is eligible to apply for scholarships for their child be an exchange student in the future.

As a mom of three who cannot take trip to foreign countries, this is a wonderful opportunity for me to not only teach my children about Spain but to learn how to share their lives with someone else. Last summer there were 18 teens from China that stayed in the Valley and lifelong friends were made in a very short period of time.
